The Ohio Valley Opry, a Southeast Ohio favorite, is now on stage at the Twin City Opera House the first and third Saturdays of every month.
Produced by and starring the Clark Family, the Opry, is a premier country, bluegrass, and gospel music show, held at the the Twin City Opera House in downtown McConnelsville. It plays to sold out audiences every month and brings crowds to the downtown shops and restaurants.
The always popular 50's diner, the Blue Bell, stays open late to accommodate the OVO patrons, and is often filled to capacity both before and after the show.
The Ohio Valley Opry brings in the best of entertainment from all over the region, and occasionally surprises the crowd with some national talent as well.
People who have attended the show have commented that "the Ohio Valley Opry is a taste of Branson or Nashville right in their own back yard. But prices are much better, and it takes lots less gas to get there!"
The top quality staff band is second to none, and the entertainment is top-notch!
Music ranges from traditional to newer country, gospel, and bluegrass and the show is designed to promote clean, family style entertainment, that is fun for whole family.
A local favorite, country comic Uncle Doofus, keeps the audience in stitches night after night.

Over 100 dolls will be on display in "A Doll's World", including 19th century French fashion dolls, apple face dolls, tiny miniature dolls, and the Dionne Quinteuplets - as babies and as toddlers!
Visitors will also be able to view 20th century icons like Cabbage Patch Kids, Raggedy Ann and Andy,
